Submission and Deadlines
The application deadline for the Chase Coggins Fund is March 15th. Interviews will take place in mid-April.
Application Process
Application consists of a written proposal (due March 15th) and interview (by invitation).
Proposals
10 page maximum. Please include the following components:
Project Summary
Should include information about applicant's background, giving relevant information about academic course work and professional/extra-curricular experience.
Project Description
Should outline proposed project, execution plan, statement of objectives, and provide a brief review of the context for the project. How does the project relate to the work done in the same field?
Work Schedule
Should include a detailed timeframe for accomplishing proposed activities.
Project Budget
Should include thoughtful estimates for use of Fund monies.
Contact Information
Should be listed on separate sheet. Include name, age, College year, residential college, College mailing address, home address, telephone number, e-mail and social security number.
Recommendations
Optional.
Interview
After initial review of written proposals, applicants will be invited for an interview with the Selection Committee.
Award
Amount awarded varies from $500-$1200.
